MISSION
To encourage, educate, and inspire dancers in conjunction with their home studios to maximize their potential, increasing their ability to pursue professional dance opportunities after graduation.

WHAT IS ARC?
Arc Dance Company is a supplementary training program for dedicated young dancers ages 11-18 who are interested in exploring a career in dance. In addition to the training they currently receive at their home studio, ARC dancers train in a variety of disciplines with professional choreographers from Vancouver to Toronto and the USA. Many of whom have toured Broadway, worked for Cirque Du Soleil, performed with international music entertainers, and currently work in film and television.
The exclusivity and dedicated nature of the ARC program was designed purposely to allow each dancer the chance to have their individual moment to shine. This can be hard to come by at large conventions, competitions or even single-day type workshops. As Artistic Director and creator of ARC, Geneen Georgiev is a dedicated force in the Vancouver industry, spearheading successful initiatives including Scholarship, CoreDance and Drive Dance Centre. Geneen is sincerely motivated to help young dancers grow and prepare for their careers.
THE PROGRAM:
Full Time:
ARC Dance Co. full time company class will be held every Sunday excluding Holidays during the school year. Every second Sunday the students will focus on training with guest teachers. Taking a variety of classes helps transform the dancers style, technique and overall dance ability. On alternate Sundays, dancers will focus on stretch and strength training, acro and circus skills as well as choreography to prepare them for performance opportunities in Vancouver’s professional scene. We do not focus on competition, but will seek out appropriate shows that the dancers can use as pre-professional performance experience. Please note that we respect home studio commitments are the first priority, and these opportunities will be structured to allow for absences in choreography when necessary.
Payment Plan:
$1250 + HST for the year
$140 x 10 monthly payments Sept-June in post-dated cheques (includes HST)
Part Time:
ARC Dance Co allows the flexibility of having busy students participate part time. The commitment for the part time program will be every second Sunday. These students will focus on training with specialty guest teachers. Performance opportunities will not be regularly available to Part Time students, but they will receive free tickets to watch and support their fellow full-time students perform in DDC's open house and in the ARC & Scholarship program's year-end show.
