Technical:

Intro Jazz:

In Jazz technique you will continuously work on technical elements of dance, including kicks, turns, and jumps. Geneen will break down elements of technical training to students who do dance but have never been “technically trained”. This hour long class will keep you moving and polishing your technique while keeping your cardio up, pushing your limits physically and mentally.

Beg/Int Jazz:

This class is the next step up from from the intro class.  We will start working on a variety of turns and jumps that were not taught in the Intro class, thus expanding your jazz vocabulary.

Jazz Notes* Those who have not perfected the intro class yet but want to push themselves should attend both classes; the Intro class to continue the work on the basics and the Beg/Int class to learn new jazz elements. If you are confused as to which class to attend, please try the Intro class first.

Contemporary:

In Melissa’s contemporary class you will use your body in a variety of ways. Each class will consist of a warm-up, across the floor exercises and choreography. Focus will be on using the music and movement to express emotion and establishing a mind body connection. You will discover how your body moves, developing your own unique style and dance in the moment.

Intermediate Ballet: Linda Arkelian's Ballet Class guides dancers to experience a fusion of contemporary styles rooted in a strong ballet technique.
