URBAN MINXXX 6 WEEK PROGRESSIVE: MAY 6TH - JUNE 10TH - REGISTER NOW!

Always wanted to learn how to dance like the girls in the music videos??? This is the class for you! This INTRO level class is a fusion of burlesque and street jazz. It takes the sexy, fun spirit of burlesque, and incorporates it with the foundations of classical jazz and hip hop. DDC is pleased to be offering a 6 WEEK BEGINNER BREAKIN' PROGRESSIVE for ages 12 & up. Sessions will commence May 24th & run until jUNE 28TH, EVERY SATURDAY from 3:30-4:30PM. Call in to pre-register 604.762.4232

We are seeking a creative dance instructor for the following disciplines: Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz and/or Kinder Dance (ages 3-5). Competitive and recreational choreography needed. Individual must be GREAT with kids, have choreography experience and a passion to teach.

There will be a new session of 'Beginner Hoodies & Heels 6 Week Progressive' WITH A NEW TIME SLOT! Classes will commence on MAY 8TH (THURSDAYS: 6 - 7pm) and run through until JUNE 12TH. Cost is $75 and there will be no refunds on missed classes. This session is a hair tossin' good time, see you at the next one!!!

Drexel University invites you to our Hip-Hop Summer Dance Intensive. This intensive is a unique one-week program of technique, theory and foundations for teaching Hip-Hop dance. The Program Director and creator Moncell Durden will be joined by master instructors Sabela Grimes and DeAndre Carol who will be teaching styles ranging from Hip-Hop social party dances, 70's social party dances, locking, top rocking, to popping, house, African, Latin and authentic social Jazz. The curriculum is both strenuous and rewarding, challenging dancers to refine technique and increase knowledge.
They welcome mature high school students, at least 16 years old, who have completed their sophomore year by July 2008. We encourage all enthusiastic students to apply. The application deadline is June 15th, 2008. Please check our website for registration forms/details: www.drexel.edu/westphal/dance

Drive Dance Centre offers many OPEN LEVEL classes through out the week. These classes are for EVERYONE equally. All will leave with a greater understanding of the style or technique at the end of class, no matter what your level.

We are excited to be offering an EVENING CONTACT IMPROVISATION CLASS STARTING in JANUARY 2008. This class will occur every TUESDAY NIGHT from 5:30-7PM. Looking forward to having contact improv in our space, so we hope to see you all there!

Pulse is a contemporary dance performance, assisted by The Dance Centre, featuring creations by Sarah Coffin, Megan Walker - Straight, and Reece Terris.
Dancers featured include Krista Adamic, Shallom Johnson, Jacinte Armstrong, Susanne Chui, Elise Vanderborght, Katie Brownhill, Janessa Stobbs, & Gwendal Castellan.
